What happens to wages outside the three covered months? ▾
They remain an ordinary claim in the insolvency proceedings. Such amounts are filed in the proceedings, and their fate depends on what is ultimately available for distribution among creditors.
Why does the authority file part of it itself? ▾
Because the claims that gave rise to the benefit passed to it when the application was made. The employee files only what remained outside that benefit — otherwise the same amounts would be filed twice.
What else should be obtained from the employer or administrator? ▾
Employment papers and earnings certificates. The next employer and the authorities calculating social benefits will need them, and once the business is effectively closed they become hard to obtain.
What if the job is gone for good? ▾
Contact the employment agency without waiting for the proceedings to end: unemployment benefit and this payment are different things with different bases, and one does not replace the other.
